Holiday Let Rental Agreement

Rental Terms:

1.1 The Owner/Manager agrees to rent the holiday accommodation to the Guest for the agreed-upon period as stated above.

1.2 The Guest agrees to pay the specified rental amount and any applicable fees as outlined in the payment terms section below.

Payment Terms:

2.1 The Guest shall pay the total rental amount specified on or before the payment due date.

2.2 Additional charges such as security deposits, cleaning fees, or other applicable fees shall be clearly specified and payable by the Guest as outlined in the payment terms.

Booking Confirmation and Cancellation Policy:

3.1 The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of the full rental payment.

3.2 In the event of cancellation by the Guest, the following refund policy shall apply:

  1. If cancellation occurs 14 days prior to the check-in date, 100% of the rental amount will be refunded.
  2. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the check-in date, no refund will be issued.

3.3 The Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the full rental payment will be refunded to the Guest.

Occupancy and Guest Responsibilities:

4.1 The maximum number of guests allowed varies per property. Any additional guests must be notified at booking and may be subject to prior approval and additional charges.

4.2 The Guest shall be responsible for maintaining the property in a clean and tidy condition during their stay.

4.3 The Guest shall adhere to any specific rules and regulations provided by the Owner/Manager, including noise restrictions, smoking policy, and pet policy, if applicable. 

Property Condition and Damages:

5.1 The Guest acknowledges that any damages or losses incurred during their stay, excluding normal wear and tear, will be their responsibility.

5.2 The Guest agrees to report any damages or maintenance issues to the Owner/Manager promptly.

5.3 The Owner/Manager reserves the right to deduct the cost of repairs or replacements from the Guest’s security deposit, if applicable, or charge the Guest for the outstanding amount.

Liability and Insurance:

6.1 The Owner/Manager shall not be held liable for any personal injuries, accidents, or losses sustained by the Guest or any third parties during their stay.

6.2 The Guest is strongly advised to obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events, accidents, or cancellations.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

7.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom.

7.2 Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom.
